The proposed hotel is built on a land plot full of olive oils and very close to a sandy beach. The village of Prinos is just 300 meters away and it is considered to be as one of the liveliest villages of Thassos, as its permanent residents are 1.500. In Prinos, one can find school, health center (the only one on the island), shops, weakly open market (also the only one on the island), while at the same time it has a long tradition on the tourist sector. 800 meters away from the hotel, there is the port of Prinos (Skala Prinou) from where ferry boats connect the island with the city of Kavala (which is the capital of the prefecture). The main port of Thassos island is in Limenas (the capital of the island) and its distance is 16 klm from the hotel. Besides the beach close to the hotel, there are many more around the area. Most of them are sandy with clear blue waters and some of them are suitable for children, as they are very shallow. The road that leads to the mountain village of “Kazaviti” crosses Prinos. “Kazaviti” is one of the most picturesque villages of Thassos because it maintains its traditional style. The houses, the village square with its perennial plane tree, the taverns, remind to the visitors of “Kazaviti” how Thassos used to be. Thus it attracts many tourists during the season. The hotel has 22 bedrooms, all of which have a private balcony, some viewing the sea and some the mountain. There are both non-smoking and family rooms. There is also a dining room where breakfast and the rest of the meals are served, a bar, a library, free Wi-Fi internet, free parking, luggage room and safe. The playground by the pool is an ideal place for the kids. Although there is a snack bar by the pool, a mini market 500 meters away, can cover the daily needs of the hotel’ residents. Besides all the above services, one can also find: bicycle and car rental , for those who wish to explore the island, free transportation from and to the port (free of charge) and transportation from and to the airport (chargeable). There is also available concierge service and use of fax and photocopy machinery. There are also daily free routes of the residents to and from the beach.
